Trost - (engl. version below)

SOLACE

Poet and musician Lydia Daher had collected prose reviews over a period of one year from newspapers just to tear the text to pieces and rearrange it to
Cut-Up-Lyric, a kind of diary, or, quoting Almut Sandig: a storybook.

This was the grundwork of an experimental audio play created by the
sound art collective „Schnitt“.
The text of Dahers´ poems again was disassembled and recomposed, painted
to the soundscape by musicians Markus Christ and Florian Meya and short
Vinyl recording pieces by Moritz Illner.

Video artist Stefanie Sixt continued the process, taking parts of the
audio and the visuals, truncating Dahers´ collages to pieces, animating
and combining it all with parts of the audio play.
